The alliance leverages the strength of a proven oilfield services provider with an entrepreneurial, leading-edge technology company. The combined vision is to develop innovative, fit-for-purpose workflows that translate reservoir understanding into significant improvements in fracturing plans, field development and operational efficiency.
The partnership will focus its initial efforts on the real-time quantification of the impact of various completion designs on stage performance, enabling them to adjust frac treatments on the fly. Leveraging C&J’s LateralScience℠ geomechanical data, together with detailed fracture-system measurements from Seismos, operators are now able to understand and quantify the impact of various completion designs on stage performance. Teaming together, C&J and Seismos not only deliver the right completion design for the lateral, but they also ensure that the plan is optimally executed.
